Medial Branch Block

What is a Medial branch block?

A Medial branch block uses a Corticosteroid which is injected near the medial branch nerves located around the facet joint.
It is used as a diagnostic tool and treatment for pain.

What is a Medial branch block?

The Physician will decide where to place the injection dependent of the areas in which your pain is radiating.  (See chart below)
